We took a week off work! We headed to Capitola, a darling beach town near Monterey, with Roland, Daniel, C, T, and Little C to celebrate Roland's 60th birthday! We stayed at the festively-colored Venetian hotel and relaxed on the beach.
We even got to sleep in the same room as 7-week old Little C. I had offered to get up and do the midnight feeding one night, but Little C and I had a little chat before bedtime and she pulled through for me--she slept right through the midnight feeding! Go team! 
Then we and C, T, and Little C spent the weekend at Janet and Gary's house, with more relaxing by the pool.
